  • Worked as a representative for major fragrance suppliers in the USA & UK.
  • Served several fashion houses, fragrance boutiques and beauty outlets.
  • Traded using Perfume Brands trademark in 2011 before the formation of the company in 2018 in the UK. She is a major investor of the company.
  • A trustworthy nose that has wealth of experience in the fragrance industry.
  • The store manager of the company's accounts on eBay, Amazon and other marketplaces. Mainly responsible for leading the Customer Service team.

 

Zed Sefi

Perfume Brands Marketing and Management director.

 

  • Joined the British company by reformation in 2018.
  • Bought Perfume Brands trading rights. currently serving as the director of the company.
  • British citizen. Originally from Dubai.
  • The creator of "United Scents" on eBay since 2008, before reforming the company to "Perfume Brands" in 2018.
  • Has a degree of Marketing and Management from Scotland, as well as a previous IT diploma from Dubai.
  • Serving as the CEO, he is responsible for vast array of operations, including partnership arrangements and marketplace integrations, as well as legal frameworks and supplier/logistics contractual agreements.

 

Rubel Barua

Perfume Brands Quality and Operations assistant.

  • A qualified long-term Perfume Brands freelancer from Bangladesh.
  • Excel database management expert, responsible for managing Perfume Brands inventory, as well as preparing accounts for tax returns.
  • Has BA Honours, MA degree in English literature.
  • Worked for American based towel manufacturing company as a Procurement officer.
  • During his previous work, he dealt with famous brands of Wallmart, IKEA, Jysk, Nitori and others.
  • Experienced in managing various tasks associated with eCommerce sites like ebay, Amazon, Shopify and Magento, mainly quality control.

 

Xena 'Coco' Chahine

Perfume Brands Marketing/Advertising graphic designer and face of company.

 

  • A fashion model and an influencer from Dubai. Lebanese citizen.
  • Chosen as the Face Of Brand (FOB) for Perfume Brands promotion materials, including the website's logo/slogan artwork.
  • Responsible for Branding & visual identity, Digital graphic design, and Editorial & publishing tasks.
  • Deeply passionate about everything fragrance/cosmetics related.
  • Helps with some administrative tasks, including Brand protection and compliance.
  • The official ambassador of Perfume Brands who strongly believes in the company's core values/cause, and increases brand awareness.

 

Timeline

2008

The business has been established for the first time, under the seller name of "United Scents" on the marketplace of eBay, by the founder Zed Sefi, trading as a sole proprietorship.

2011

The trademark name of "Perfume Brands" has been registered as a trading name by the entrepreneur Kimberley Rose.

2013

The firms "United Scents" and "Perfume Brands" have been merged through the aquisition of Perfume Brands by United Scents, renaming the foundation to "United Scents and Perfume Brands" for the next 5 years.

2018

The company has been reformed to "Perfume Brands Limited" as a Private Limited Company, dropping the name "United Scents" and registered its foundation in Merseyside, United Kingdom.

2020

The company moved its headquarters location to the city of Manchester, England. It is still based in Manchester to the present day.

2021

The company filed its first tax returns in the United Kingdom after the British government deferred the original time of submission due to COVID-19 crisis.
